Tristar Financials - Consumer's Reward Program Consumers Lottery -CoastHills Federal Federal Credit Union Sent me a check saying that i won a drawing for the North American Winners in this catagory

I received a letter and a check from a company claiming to be a consumer rewards program. Upon calling the number they listed my phone recognized the number to be an Ontario phone #.

The letter also said that we were all selected randomly by computer from the Consumer Database Directory. The check enclosed is to ensure that we may afford the "Luxury Tax" on our $38, 000.

I was told to call the phone # listed and talk to Kara Watson or Vitalis Rai. I called the number immediately it was about 12:30 p.m. to see what kind of scam they would try to sell me and a womans' voice with a heavy accent answered. I told her who I was looking for and she responded "Oh that okay, can you call back in about five minutes I am on the line with somebody else.
The phone was never answered again, and the mailbox was too full to accept any more messages.
