Sending a fake check in the mail and saying I won a lottery

This company is sending checks to people and telling them that they won a lottery. First of all I didn't even enter a lottery. So I asked my bank to verify the check and they coulnd't!!

I kept trying to call Michael Moore, the name on the letter I got, and he said to call him back because he needed to check with his manager after I told him the bank could not verify the check.
