GALLERIE CONCORDE
FRAUDULENT ARTWORK INVESTMENT

I was persuaded to make a short-term investment on a Peter Max print over 9 years ago. I contacted the Better Business Bureau as suggested by my account broker. At the time the Better Business Bureas informed that Gallerie Concorde was reputable. I contact my account broker, Mr. Harold Sendel, every 3 to 4 months to discuss my account options. Each time I have been informed that my piece is in the first position to be sold, but yet it has not sold in the 9 years I have had it.
Each time I talked with Harold he encouraged me with obvious lies how I made a good investment and that it would pay off in short time. I just needed to be a little more patient. He actually had the nerve to suggest that I invest in other pieces, which I didn't.
I am convinced that I made a poor judgement and accept that I have lost the money I have invested in this painting that is still in its original shipping box. I was glad to stumble across this website in that I might help prevent someone else from making the same mistake.
Unethical companies like this should not be allowed to operate.
