I received a check in the amount of $2, 998.56 made payable to me.
I knew I hadn't signed up for any lottery, so I had a bad feeling about it right away.

The check was issued by RENAISSANCE HOSPITALS, INC, Operating Account, 427 W. 20th Atreet #300, Houston, TX 77008.

The check was issued by Bank One (now Chase Bank) the check is real, and it has an actual account number, but the Bank told me that the account was inactive.
So I decided to check the internet and found that I was not alone.

I can see where is someone is not paying attention and wondering why you would receive a check out of nowhere can get caught up in this scam.
