I received a letter from Brimley Marketing out of Canada. The letter said I had won $8, 000 USD and they had been trying to contact me. The interesting part to this was they sent it to my work and not home. Included in the letter was a cashiers check for $998.56 USD. I did think right away it was a scam so I did some research and found others that received the same thing but under a different company name and the street address name was very similar, Ridgewood instead of Bridgewood Ave.
I decided to call this Lexie and see what she had to say. The first time I called I did not get an answer. The second time she put me on hold and the third time she said she was just going into a meeting and could I call her back in a half hour, right... Thanks to all of the people who wrote in I was not scammed out of any money.
