INTERNATIONAL CLAIMS DEPARTMENT THEY SENT ME A CHECK FOR 4, 875.00, SAID I WAS 1 OF 32 WINNERS IN NORTH AMERICAN SWEEPSTAKES LOTTERY, ENTITLED TO 125, 000.00CLAIM #XLA/CK-0213.PAY 2875.00 TO TAX AGENT LESLIE SAUNDERS, CANADA

I received a letter dated 12/24/08 saying I was 1 of 32 winners of the North American Sweepstakes Lottery held on 09/20/08 in the 2nd category. I was entitled to $125, 000.00and the sole purpose of this first check was to pay taxes on my big winnings, as taxes couldn't be deducted from winning amount becauseof the 'insurance bond policy coverage'.

It also said not to use the check until I called 1-416-841-3987. Keep winnings CONFIDENTIAL to avoid double claiming. You are advised to contact your claim agent for further clarification as indicated below within 10 business day. And it said 'day' not days- poorly written and spelled.

Since I received this letter on 01/05/09 and the check was drawn on ILLINOIS NATIONAL BANK, SPRINGFIELD ILL.62701, I spoke to a customer service rep., I gave her the #s across the bottom of the check, she ran the #s
and advised me that it was indeed a fraudulent check!!!

CLAIMS/DISBURSEMENT AGENT-LESLIE SAUNDERS voice mail box was full, Douglas R. Strief signed the check, and Bryan Morgan (Promotion Manager) need to charged with fraud and a host of other charges for this scam.!!!
