Sent me a check for $4975.00 saying I won the Canadian lottery from an entry at Home Depot, Wall Mart, and/or Ross

I received a check in the mail for $4975.00. I was told to deposit the check and send $3985.00 to cover the tax of the complete $120, 000 amount. I called and talked to the individual who called me a stupid idiot and hung up on me after I questioned the check. I called him back multiple times trying to get information. He refused to talk with me about my "winnings."
