This company claimed I won a sweepstakes, sent me a fake check, and tried to get me to pay taxes

These people sent me a fake check and asked me to call someone named Kelly Smith at 1-905-781-1905. It was fortunate for me that my best friend is a Bank Manager and she informed me that the check was fake. Someone should be able to do something to people who are attempting to scam people. Someone who is gullable could be ripped off very badly. They did not put a return address on the envelope or the letter. That is one good sign for other people to know that they are not legit. Legit companies will give you their address and phone number on their correspondence.
