Total Scam

I like others have received a letter stating I had won 125, 000.00 and included a check in the amount of $4875.00 to deposit into my account. I had the feeling this was not right. Since this doesn't happen to me.
I called the Bank listed on the Check and was given a toll free number to verify the money was there to cover this check and was told the check number I gave her was for the amount of $7000.00 and the name on the check was not even mine. Therefore I have shredded the check and am writing the message to other unspecting people to be wary of Large sums of money in the mail.
