Yorkdale Solutions/ Finch Bond COmpany $13, 316.16 check made out to ME!

My Mother recied TWO seperate checks from this company, one for $13, 316.61 (which she told was her prize from the "sweepstakes" and another for $2, 388.90 which was for her surety bond. I read her letter and the fiorst flag that went off was a mispelled word in the text of the letter. I than noticed that the phone number for the bond company was the same as the sweepstakes. So i called and the man "John SImmons" in a thick middle-eastern accent informed me that i needed to deposit the smaller check into my bank account and than wire him that money after the money became available i than needed to wire it to him, after i did that i would recieve my bond in ONE business day, and than i could cash the bigger check. It sounded TOO good to be true! So i called the bank that the check was drawn on, even though the number printed on the check was wrong! I googled the ban got the correct phone number and as soon as i said i recieved two checks in the mail, the man on the phone said it was a scam and asked that i forward him copies of the check, which i did along with the letter. Please do not deposit these checks, if you recieve them. Not only will you not recieve the surety bond, you will be in a world of trouble at your bank! The rep from the bank said that people have been calling in from all over the US, and it seemed to be elderly people, my mom included! So please be VERY cautious of what you recieve in the mail saying you won a LARGE sum of money. Like mom always said if it's too good to be true... it probably is!
