Sent me letter informing I won in the second category of the USA Mega Draw with a check to help pay for the taxes payable to a tax agent

I received a suspicous letter yesterday postmarked from Canada with no return address on the outside of the envelope. I opened it up and found a letter informing me that I was one of the winners in the second category of the USA Mega Draw and subsequently won US $465, 000.00. Payment would be made by certified check and delivered by our special courier company. They enclosed a check in the amount of US $4, 650.00 to help to pay for taxes and is payable to a tax agent: Jeffrey Mclean. I was advised to contact my claims agent: Jerry Nelson before I act on this notice to avoid cases of misappropriation and mishandling of prize monies. The letter was supposingly signed by a Joy Bunch (Promotions Manager).

I called a Jerry Nelson at the number listed and he said to call on Monday since they were closed for the day. Well, I thought this was to good to be true and so I checked out this company on the web and here I am writing a complaint. It is true what they say, if it seems to good to be true, it probably is.

I would like to see these scam artists put behind bars!!!
