Robert Curtis-Charles Brown-John Garfield Was told that we won 250, 000.00 & sent us a check for 3800.00. Wanted us to send them 2885.00 for tax purposes, would send the rest of the 250.000.00 by next week

We received a letter and a check for $3800.00 stating that my husband had won a third category Lottery Draw prize of $250.000.00. They stated the drawing was held on February 16th 2007.

They stated the enclosed check for $3800.00 was deducted from the $250.000.00. The letter said for us to call to begin the claims processing. Once we called, they wanted us to go ahead and deposit the check and withdraw $2885.00 & wire it to them for "tax clearance fee" from Canada.

We were then told after they received this $2885.00, they would quickly send the remainder of the $250.000.00 per bank draft or certified check. We did not do this!!
