I met with ACORN member to discuss action in my building problems. The acorn person really pushed my getting a membership which is giving monthly donations. I am on a disability and not much money. I felt really pushed into giving this money in order to get some support by ACORN. It left a bad taste in my mouth. I have never had to pay to get support from a group that would help me

Why is ACORN pushing to get people to pay. I would like to see results before giving my money for what. I can not get a tax receipt what is the benefit of being a member of ACORN.
