Free money plus a bogus address should have been clues

I was suspicious about getting a check for some sweepstakes that I don't remember entering. My wife decided to simple deposit the check but treat the money as if it were not there. If the check bounced, it cost us $5.
I decided to confirm my suspicions by looking up the company. I know (being part Canadian) that there is not likely to be a city in Saskatchewan named "Saskaton" when the capital city is "Saskatoon" (one more "o"). The postal code also turned out to be bogus.
After that, I began searching on the company name and found this web site with a couple of complaints and added my own.
I would think that Marriott would be pursuing this as their name and logo have been used to give respectability to fraud. I/we will be hurt by this no more than the $5 service charge, but I am willing to sign up for a class-action suit if anyone else initiates one.
