Sent a check for the amount $4880.00 suspicious right away, googled the comp. seen they were a scam

Rec'd notification and check in the mail for the amount of $4880.00 that i had won some kind of drawing in the North America Sweepstakes. My wife and I were suspicious right away. I did deposit the check and called them back, they said i need to send them a moneygram or western Union, suspicious again. We decided to google the company and all this info on them came up as a big scam, not sure what is next!
