Very recently (yesterday actually) I was driving my way back home from work listening to my local radio sports station when I overheard an advertisement in regards to receiving a free laptop just by answering some questions so I said to myself, "Hmmm, let me try and see if it really is legit or a scam."
So, I came back home and went on the computer. I visited the site "amazingfreelaptop.com." The site seemed pretty straightforward.
From my understanding, in order to get the free laptop you must do the following:
1) Pick the laptop you want to be delivered to your home.
2) Fill out a survey.
3) Signed up for 2 Sponsored Offers.
4) Receive an email confirmation of the laptop delivery after activating any of the 2 Sponsored offers listed.
The Sponsored Programs are actually 'Trial Period' Programs which simply means you sign up for a service and you have a certain amount of days to try out the program or service before you are automatically charged on your credit card monthly.
Here is the catch: What they actually do is 2 things. One, they takeyour information that you put in (name, email address etc.) and startto spam your emails. Two, You never receive a confirmation of thelaptop delivery.
I did exactly what was stated on that list and guess what? I never received an email notification, nothing, nada, zip!! Oh and let's not forget about the emails that I sent to them demanding to receive an explanation to why I did not received my email confirmation of the delivery of my laptop. I wrote to them 3 times but again, nothing!
I don't recommend this site at all and don't even bother looking for other sites hoping that there is an easier way to get a free laptop because there isn't. They all will have the 'Sponsor Offers" requirement.
