Bryan Turner from Myzer.com asked $30 for posting an ad on his CraigsList-copy website "Myzer.com" which claims to be free, covering the Timmins, Ontario, Canada area. After demanding $30, we attempted to place a simple ad, and he immediately suspended our account and demanded an additional $100 for a "MyzerStore" account. Smelling a scam, we politely asked for a refund, but due to his "strict no-refund policy" he claimed he was permitted to keep our money, and refused to let us have any access to account.

He then proceeded to accuse us of trying to be sneaky and steal from him. After repeatedly trying to be polite and reason with this ignorant man, we finally resorted to searching the internet. Found a similar report on this website, where he pulled the same scam on some American travelers and then told them to go "back to your own country, " assuming they wouldn't respond being tourists.

Bryan Turner has a very rude and abrasive attitude, and his company Myzer practices absolutely no customer service. Even more ridiculous, he claims he receives over 1 million hits -per day- to a website serving a community area of with a population of under 60, 000. His website contains numerous posts that display his ignorance and terrible personality.

Short of hiring a lawyer to reclaim $30, the next best thing you can do is completely avoid this scammer. We can not emphasize enough, and hopefully others will not be caught victim to his completely arbitrary policies. It's unfortunate he was the first to found a classifieds website in the area, the cause for a bloated ego, but hopefully CraigsList will open in the Timmins, Ontario area and shut down his "business."
