Kobo return policy

Kobo ran a promotion on their newly launched Vox tablet prior to Christmas. I am sure this was a strategy to bolster Christmas sales. I purchased one over the internet for my wife's Christmas present in early November. After initializing it after Christmas, my wife was not happy with the battery life and we tried to exchange it for a Kobo touch. Kobo hid behind their thirty day return policy and as a result have lost a customer.
