Tvboxset
Never received dvd boxset of Carol Burnett show. They said shipping was backed up 2 weeks, but the set still never came. I made repeated phone calls and e-mails, but never heard from them again!

I wish I had heard of this site before I was ripped off by www.tvboxset.com. I ordered the Carol Burnett show dvd box set on August 2, 2007 as a birthday present for my mother. I received a confirmation e-mail telling me that the set would be shipped by August 6. I never received any such e-mail, but I still waited until the dates that the set was supposed to arrive, which was between August 15-18.

By August 23 I still had not received the box set. I called the customer service department and shipping department for tvboxset and left a message on each of their voice mails inquiring about the status of the set. I also sent an email to dvdsupport@tvboxset.com. I did not receive an e-mail back, but I received a phone call from the shipping department on August 25. I was working at the time so they left a message on my answering machine saying that all items have been delayed two weeks and to expect the set to arrive two weeks after the date in which I was supposed to receive it.

I waited two more weeks and still no package arrived on my doorstep. I called the shipping department, customer service department and sent an e-mail once again on September 5. I received an e-mail from them on September 7 stating that they were sorry and would contact the shipping department and have them file a claim on my behalf and that I would hear back from them in a few days. I have not heard back from them to this day.

I called them back and e-mailed them once again on September 13 telling them that I am fed up and want a full refund. I told them that if they do not give me a full refund within 5 business days that I will file a dispute with my credit card company to revoke the charge. I may even call the Federal Trade Commission whose number I found on this web site. Companies such as tvboxset should not have the right to continue operations when all they do is rip people off.
