I have been contacted by this company today. The telemarketer introduced himself as he is from loan company and that he can start sending me people even today to buy my car if I pay him $150. I asked him if they have a website - he gave me the website name, and told me that he is currently located in North Dakota (by accent I could clearly tell the guy is calling from Inida, probably some call center there). I told him that I don't really have any credit card with me, then instead of charging me $150 he offered that he would just place an authorization on my card and will not charge it unless the car is sold to one of the buyers that he will send to me. He kept saying that he wants to send me a client right now even today 8:30 in the evening but he just needs my credit card number. So here is the summary of his lies:

1) presented himself as from loan company - clearly not, this is just a classifieds service at the most
2) located in North Dakota - which if you look at other scam notices posted - these guys don't have any representation in USA - they are in Canada
3) I contacted AutoTrader - autotrader representative stated that this company is not to do business with becuase they don't follow through giving refunds to the customers.

In Addition, BBB did a press release warning all consumers about that internet company not giving refunds as promised.

I ended up not taking upon their offer.. so just use my complaint as a reference if you like!!
