Ripoff Your Bank Account Ripoff They take money out of your account after you have cencelled the service Toronto Ontario

I once had a non contractual pay by month webhosting for my website. My wife called them while I was at work to cancel the service as I wasn't satisfied with what they offered for the money (alot of other providers offer alot more for less). But it is now March 2 2005 and I come home ill from work to find out Softcom Technologies a.k.a Myhosting.com has deducted $9.95 from my bank account to brink it into a negative, not good by any means but hey, I called my bank and they waived the overdraft fee.

So my wife researched our account to see if they have been getting under the "Radar" so to speak, and they haven't taken money from us since atleast october we can see. But why do they take money over 6 months after closing service? My guess is they do these things to generate more income. we are in desparate times now, and companies are trying to invent new ways of getting liquid capital (money). But do businesses have to go to these extremes?

In closing, shy away from this company, it obviously isn't an accident. There's any proof that they messed up as there's no money taken out for at least the last 5 months when my wife and I were confident they hadn't been picking us clean. But there are other legitimate web hosting companies out there. check out canada-complaints.com to see if your hosting service you want to join or have joined is listed and choose wisely.
