I ordered a "free" trial of a tooth whitening product for $1.95 shipping which turned into $12.90 because it was from the US (Product was shipped from Pickering, ON). Then they told me I agreed to pay $86.25 but would not be charged if I returned it within 14 day trial period. They did not ship until 12 days later, and didn't receive it until a full month later so no chance there. Tried to contact via email, returned undeliverable. Contacted by phone, employee refused to let me speak to a supervisor and eventually hung up on me. How do companies get away with this?
