POOR SERVICE/PRODUCT

Electronics and household app.

We have a front load Samsung washing machine that is only 1 1/2yrs old. The washer recently tore the sleeve off of sweater as the sleeve became tangled with the rubber inside seal of the washer (behind front door). The seal itself now has a tear in it which ruined the sweater and of course we cannot use the washer until fixed. Samsung said this was not their fault (of course you are having to talk to someone in India via 1-800 phone number.) When asked for a supervisor to speak to, the person refused but eventually put another person on-line. This person would not provide their full name, and refused to provide any further contact names/numbers for Samsung service personnnel or any contact information for their HQ operation in Canada. They hung up on us! We then tried to access service via website and that's another adventure/story itself. When trying to register for a service callback via e-mail were not allowed to submit service request as product was over one year old- only reference was to again call the 1-800# where we had such great customer service. Eventually through much searching we have located the name of the President of Samsung in Ontario and will try to reach him but fully expect to be told, it is our problem not theirs- Customer service personnel are extremely rude and service is the furthest thing in their mind. Stay away from SAMSUNG
