TOTAL LACK OF CONSIDERATION ripoff

I knew I was in trouble when it took over one month for this company to ship my order. After several phone calls they sent me an email stating the order was shipped.
I received the merchandise in a damaged envelope.

The complete collection of Sabrina the Teenage Witch on DVD was a Christmas gift for my daughter, who loved it when she opened it. That was the end of the smiles, when one after another the dvd's skipped, or did not play, or had no sound. They also were taped from the television; they were not originals, as they had claimed they would be.

Since the week after Christmas, December of 2006, I have been emailing and telephoning them, leaving messages simply asking for a reply.

I am most annoyed and upset at being ignored.
By now I have accepted that they stole over 100 dollars from me.
I just wanted an acknowledgment, and an apology.

They are not registered with the BBB in Quebec, unfortunately. I have tried to file a report with them, but the BBB sent me an email reply (they are a legitimate company, there's the difference) stating that they have received SEVERAL complaints about this company but could do nothing about it since Rare Dvd's is not registered with them. How unfortunate.
