Three weeks ago my wife was driving on the 416 highway when a large truck who"s driver wasn't paying attention, went off the shoulder of the road and sprayed gravel all over our 2008 Envoy. She followed the truck to get the name and license plate number S47 326 Ontario plate. While she typed it on her Blackberry I looked up the company who's logo she had read off the door of the truck, she tried to flag the driver down but he would not stop. I spoke to Mike at Vanson's who was polite and assured me that he would have the manager Terry contact me and not to worry. I called back 2 more times the same week and still Terry did not call back. When we finally got a hold of Terry by phone today he gave us a bunch of lines about how do we know it was their truck, we should call our insurance company etc etc. They have now absolved themselves of any responsibility though we felt we had done everything possible immediately at the time it happened, short of calling the police, which we should have done in the first place. We are now left paying for a windshield caused by their negligence
