Eware of this scam artist..he's a one man company..(reno pro)..he will come to your door to do a quote and impress you with his so called knowledge and smooth talking. He will ask for a substantial deposit for the job and like a dummy wanting this project up and running I handed him $2500. He is not a licensed pre paid contractor in Alberta and you must be in order to buy materials on the customers behalf.
So after he went out and bought some fairly cheap looking materials and after all his excuses as to why he couldn't start when he said he could ..he finally made an attempt to tile our bathroom floor which was unlevel and not parallel to wall, he used wrong adhesive after 2 days the tiles lifted off with a butter knife..he drywalled before any plumbing was installed and his drywall cuts for around the light switches was way to wide..He actually broke a post that he was banging on to try to get the wall to appear more square and didn't tell us and just covered it up with drywall... on and on it goes..he was fired by us but had spent the money we gave him so now we are trying to collect our refund..Oh did I forget to mention he forged my husbands signature on a check I wrote to him and he changed the date the check was written to a day earlier. What a sad, sad life. Beware of Don Hutlet of reno pro... total scam artist
