Poor Customer Service and Lies

I rented a car from Titans at the Montreal location but when I arrived to pick it up, there was no car available for me. After waiting 15 minutes for a car to come in, the manager at Titans suggested that I rent a car from another rental place and that he would refund me the difference in cost. He proceeded to book another vehicle online on my behalf, and informed me that I would be reimbursed for using his suggestion.

After returning from my trip, I emailed and faxed all the documents and receipts and was always given a response that "the accounting department is in the middle of processing our request". This has been an ongoing battle with Titans for the past 6 months. It has been extremely frustrating even trying to get a hold of them as we have made numerous calls but have only gotten through to their voicemail which is always full. Even on email, you can't get through to them as their email service is down or full and your email will get bounced back and delivered unsuccessfully. What kind of business is this where you can't even reach anyone? Where is the customer service when it's impossible to get a hold of anyone?

Their business motto is "Customers First Always" yet I have not even seen the basic form of customer service from them. They will always give you a generic answer to avoid dealing with your issues directly, and will even lie to you. For example, I finally got a hold of the manager last week when he told me that the accounting department had mailed me a cheque for the refund and that we should receive it in a few days. After going through all of my documentation, I realized that it was just another answer for them to avoid dealing with the issue. It was impossible for them to have mailed me a cheque as we had never given them an address.

With these lies and horrible customer service, I do NOT suggest you rent a car from Titans. You will be disappointed with their customer service and, if there is ever a problem with your rental, it will be impossible for you to get it resolved correctly. The headaches and time spent will not be worth any savings that you may get by renting from them. I am truly appalled at their level of customer service.

As you will notice there are many complaints online with this company. I will be reporting them to the BBB as well as telling my story to as many online sites as possible. The lack of decency that this company has shown to their customers is truly unacceptable.
