We are extemely unhappy with service we recieved on nov 23 2011 invoice #20004300003325. We had brought our car in and asked for a break job on our vehicle... the car was looked at and we were qouted over the phone that the job would be approx. $300.00, at that we decided to bring in two tired we had previously purchased and asked them to put them on for us. No other call was made to us exept to retrieve the car when finished. To our surprise the job now cost a total of 917.55. We know all to well that to put on two tires does not cost an added $600.00, however my fiance payed the bill. We brought the car home and after the first day taking the care out... suddenly there was a loud humming noise which urged me to take the vehicle back to the garage and express my concerns about the price of the bill and now a sudden problem after bringing the car out of the shop. My concerns upon the fact that we were not notified about such a drastic jump in price due to the cars labour was COMPLETELY ignored. They told me to sit and wait to see what the noise was... they then said the car has a power steering fluid leek and will cost us but another $475.00 to repair. I stressed to them that there was absolutely NO other problem with the car other than what we had originally brought it in for and questioned as to why the car had a sudden and new major problem imeddiatlely after leaving their shop... Alll i was told was its age of the car... I do not appreciate being ignored nor having our intelligence undermined. We strongely feel either this was a mishap due to one of their workers in repairing the first thing or that this might have been purposely done for furthur business. We and our Family are contiuous customers of Canadian Tire stores and feel we deserve fairness and attention on this matter.
