YOU ARE A DECLARED WINNER OF THE SHOPPERS SWEEPSTAKES

I received a letter stating that I had won a sweepsstakes held January 5th, 2009. It gave a ticket # and Winning # and claim # for an amount of $250, 000.00.

The thing that caught my eye was that the address on letter and adress on check were different. Also the name typed on letter and the signature didnot match. They also wanted me to send them money to pay government taxes by moneygram or western union. When I called the phone number provided it just went to an answering service, which mail box was full.

I checked out the company on the internet search and found it was on canada-complaints.com.
