Ripped off, they took my money, they promised great results, and NO PRODUCT

I received a great mailer, stating that I could work from home. Great companies would be in these directories they promised to send you after you pay your membership fee. Then you work for the companies listed "at Home". Well they cashed my cheque just after Christmas, and it is now middle of January and I have not received anything in the mail from them in the form of a directory as they promised.
Further research has now indicated that this company is fraudulent and they only take your money.
Please becareful of them. I am fighting to get my money back. If anyone knows the steps to take to get my money back I would forever be grateful.
I fell for a scam!!
