Collection Group Of Shipping Charge RipOff

A few months back I order $125 of martial arts equipment from the US. That charge included a $20 shipping charge. A few weeks after it arrived, I received a bill alluding to some hidden charge in the amount of $32.25 from PBB Global Logistics claiming that this was some type of shipping charge that was owed. I don't order things very often, so I knew the two events had to be related and since I had already paid my shipping charge, I new this had to be a scam. Twice I called them and left a detailed message. They never called me back.
Now, some months later, I have received a threatening letter claiming that my credit rating will be ruined unless I pay this charge immediately. I've started the cycle again by calling and leaving messages. Still no reply. What's worse is that this collection group is just an offshoot of PBB. Plus, when I called the direct extension of my account manager, the voice of the girl on the recording is the same as the girl on the general answering machine. This is definitely a scam. Don't be fooled. I've read a lot of forums on the net where people received similar letters threatening to ruin their credit for charges as low as $8. Everyone ends up doing it. They obviously have some kind of connection where they get data from mailing lists and then fraudulently send these letters. They cannot ruin your credit rating. Do not fall victim to this petty scam.
