This company is also using a address that is printed on the check 11740 Manchester road, Des Peres, MO 63131
And, Commerce Bank 224 W Commercial, Lebanon, MO 65536-3146
Totally a scam!! I just recieved a letter in the mail with no return address on the envelope that stated I won $125, 00.00 in some American shoppers sweepstakes.
They sent a check for $4, 875.00 (to cover taxes, yeah right!) And wanted you to send the rest of the money via Western Union or MoneyGram.
Also, a note of interest: the check number is 100623.
I also called the bank personally, the lady said and I quote "please don't deposit that check into your account! ". They are aware of the scam and are getting calls all the time on it.
Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know not to deposit that check, they are only wanting your account information!!!
If its "too good to be true", it probably isn't!
