First Approval Benefits, Kinito promised chance at better credit, gave me a 60 day migraine, jacked me for $299, help!!! Monteal, Fort Lee, New Jersey

June 25. i nice young woman by the name of jessica called me with the offer for a visa mastercard with a 4, 000 dollar limit. since i was in the market for my first credit card ever, i thought "might as well"... so, i agreed to the debit on july 7th for $299 and gave her my info... moron. i thoght right away that it might be shady, but waited a week or so, and called to make sure the phone number they gave me was connected. it was, and i asked them when it would arrive, they said no later than the 15 of july. ok. thats cool. july 16th, i called, they said call back if it hadnt arrived within 2 weeks, and they would give me a traking number.

on the 20th, i called and said, it had not arrived, and she said it would be there by the 26th. i asked when it was sent, she couldnt access that, and i asked how she knew when it would arrive if she didnt know when it was sent. she assured me it was fine. i said goodbye and hung up.

the 28th. it didnt arrive. i called and asked to speak to a supervisor, she said they didnt take incoming calls, and i then left 5 messages over the next 3 days, to no avail. note... same woman every time i called. funny, that.

i went to the trusty web and found this site. i was appalled. went to the bank, they said, 99% chance they'll get it back. one week later, i call to see whats up, and they couldnt because i had indeed authorized the debit. im screwed.

now, im trying to file a small claim against them, but the ach third party the bank gave me lead me right back to first approval benefits... so, whos the legit party here? i cant find a name so i can sue, and the ftc only took a report but could not give me info on where to find these people. i find now that this company is based in canada, so the jersey secretary of state would be no help. can i file against a company in canada?

my bank has obviously not investigated the matter, for i find that this company does not even deal with banks on the phone. so, they call and thats it. im screwed. im switching banks, thats for sure. ill go down again to drill them about theyre "dispute"...

so, basically, all i need are names of the third party people that initiate debits for first approval benefits, and the actual people at kinito to list on my small claims forms, so if anyone has them, help!!! i would gladly be involved in a class action suit, if it was organized. but for now, i just want a refund. i am a desperate chump.and if "natalie" from kinito, reads this please post the names of your former supervisors.thanx for being such a good rat!
