Hair damage

Dear Madam/Sir,

End of April, 2012, I went to "House of Beauty and Spa" on Holmes avenue in North York for a haircut by the owner of the beauty salon whose name is Sara. That day, Sara and her co-worker known as Kara suggested that I should go for a hair straightening treatment known as Magic. one week later, Kara applied the treatment on my hair all the time asking for help and assistance from a co-worker named Maggie. Having noticed her inexperience, I strongly suggested that she stop the procedure before any damage is done to my hair to which she asked me not to "run on her nerves" and relax.

I noticed that my hair was definitely damaged when i washed it after three days as instructed.

I called the salon and told the owner about my hair and she wanted me to go over. After seeing my hair they claimed that my hair was not damaged and they said that the chemical was not absorbed in my hair properly. On that day Sara treated my hair with a vitamin solution and sent me home with a bottle of conditioner. She asked me to go back after 3 weeks for the initial treatment of straightening, She also mentioned that no treatment can be done to my hair before 3 weeks.

I insisted to see Kara's working license but Sara said that her license was at home and eventually she admitted that Kara does not have a license. This time the owner offered to redo my hair herself.

After 21 days, I called Sara, the owner, but I was shocked by the way she replied to me. She said it was really none of her business and that i should talk to Kara. Kara called me immediately threatened me that if I set foot in that place or call ever again she will call the cops on me and that I can do whatever I want.

I showed my hair to two other hair stylists and they all said that they will not do anything on my hair because it is certainly damaged.

I have never been treated like this by anyone in this peaceful city and I would like to lodge an official complain against the owner and the co-worker.

Please advice me to my legal standing
