& Blue Bay Getawayconquest Vacations worst vacation ever, vacation from hell

We booked an all inclusive vacation at the "Blue Bay Getaway" in Cancun Mexico through Conquest vacations in November 2002. We had major delays and problems with our flight, which was changed from a direct flight to stopping in Vancouver for 4and 1/2 hours, not to mention the worst flights there & back with their carrier "sky service."

When we arrived to our the Blue Bay Getaway which is suppose to be a 4 star hotel it was more like a 2 and 1/2. we had everything go wrong the hotel had overbooked and we were switched rooms twice during our vacation, charged for services we never had in rooms we never occupied at the time of the said charges, not to mention there was major construction being done directly outside of our balcony (jack hammering of concrete and hammering) from 6:45 am through until past 10 pm every day of our stay. We tried for 3 days to try and get a Conquest representative to help us and finally we had to ask our travel agent (by fax) to send us home.

To which we never recieved a reply from Conquest or our agent. After sending Conquest Vacations a letter along with photographs of the problems Conquest offered no apology, just excuses and a $100.00 credit to the four of us who paid in excess of $1400.00 for this one week vacation of complete stress, bullshit and hell.

Conquest Vacations does not stand behind the hotels they promote and they do not stand behind the promises that they make in their brochures. We have previously always traveled with Signature Vacations (over 9 all inclusive trips in Mexico) and each time they were excellent, we went with Conquest because we thought we would try a new hotel not offered by signature, that was the last time we will do that. Conquest Vacations is a rip off in every way!!
