Pickering Rip off UNPROFESSIONAL

I joined Extreme Fitness October 1st 2007 I was told that my first 3 months would be free and my 4th month would be only $19.99. I was charged the full $56 on the third month. I never seen these the 3 free months or $19 4th month. I was given false information when I signed the contract, I was told I could cancel or freeze my account at any time.

I was in an accident Janurary 21 2008 the day before m birthday I contacted Santo from member services who said send in my doctors note and the contract will be waived. This did not happen after a few weeks they tried to take out the money again, thank god I had a stop payment on it. I called and Santo was no longer there I started dealing with a girl named Safiah who told me the same thing again I faxed my doctors note and my membership was still not canceled.

extreme fitness is a rip off!!! on my 5th month they took payment out of my bank account TWICE under two different spellings of extreme fitness one lower case one capital. I never have gotten my money back for this.

I called Trevor (the owner/the ***hole) this morning and faxed him another copy of an updated doctors note sayting i am not able to return to the gym, he said to me"well when you get better you can come back it's not like your going to stop wokring out" i obviously wanted to cancel because i was not well enouh to come back!

He was very rude and unprofessional I told him that 3 people he hired to represent his company TOLD ME to send in my doctor note and my contract would be canceled. this never happened. He then THREATENED me, and said that he was going to go through collections to get the remaining $300 dollars and to freeze my account meant I still had to pay which makes no sense either.

extreme fitness does this to everyoneee and personal trainers talk openly in the change rooms about doing drugs and such at parties. this place is a rip off and needs to be stopped.
