Rude, threatening, sarcastic, rip-off

I joined Premeir Fitness club In January 2006. I paid for an annula memebership, monthly and they continued to extract mothly paymnets from my credirt card at the end of the year. I rarely used the club as I found the staff rude and untrained. During 2007 my job entailed a lot of travel and so I called Premier in September 2007 to ask them to cancel my member ship. They offered me 6 months frr with a resumtion of membership after that time. I refused and was tiols that I had to go to the club, give them 30 days notice with a written cancellation. I did!

In April 2008 they resumed the extraction of payments. I called today to ask them to give me my money back as I had cancelled. The 3 people that I spoke to where, without question, the rudest people that I have ever encountered. The first person made me feel like an inadequate liar and finally, sighing and obviously disgused with my plight, passed me to the manager who I assumed would listen to my story. He was worse, inferred that I was a liar and finally said " let's face it Wendy, you never cancelled and now you just want your money back"!!! They both absolutly refused to listen to my side of the story. The thirds and final person - the Manager of Accounts payable started thr conversation with - " I am warning you that if you even think about canelling the paynebt that we have just taken off your credit card, we WILL get the money and your credit will be ruined. All this for $40.
