Vancouver Cruise - ripoff did not return the refundable deposit for a cruise

The company that I work for booked a deposit with the Pride Of Vancouver for a Christmas Party in December of 2005. We put down a deposit of over $1500 to hold our places on this boat ride. Unfortunately, there was a horrible car accident and my bosses mother passed away. My boss left to be with family and had to cancel our company christmas party.

I called the Pride of Vancouver to explain the situation and cancel our reservations. I expected to have to pay a cancellation fee but what they did was just horrible. Not only did they not give back a portion of the deposit but they didn't give back any!!

AND, they had the nerve to yell at us for paying the FULL amount of the cruise!! The price if we had of went on the cruise!! I even talked to the owner/manager (that's what he called himself anyway) and he said that we should just be happy that he's not going to make us pay the full $2500.

They are a horrible company with ABSOLUTELY no morals! Nobody should EVER go through them!
