WHAT A FAKE!! YOU WILL BE DEALT WITH Toronto

I received a letter with claim #3A520E stating: We are pleased to advice you that you are one of the winners in the second category Sweepstake Draw held on May 30, 2008. We therefore acknowledge receiving from the Governemnt Lottery Office entry slip attaced to your name with serial number 2645904 drew the lucky winning number 15-66-83-78-02... So on and so forth... I am entitled to the sum of $352, 025.00 which I will have to pay taxes in the amount of $3, 520.25, but enclosed was a check in the amount of $4, 750.00...

I was extremely excited but then I came to my senses I don't play the lottery or did I sign anything adding my name to a drawing in the first place... then I started investigating this scam I looked up the address on the letter nothing... I looked up my agents phone number it was a cell phone that was not taking any more calls and at the bottom of the letter there were a different signature.

But the crazy thing about it is could a bank like citibank really be backing this scam, because the check was endorsed by citibank... When I looked up the address for Citibank on the check it reads citibank, N.A. Br # 957 1000 Broadway Hillbrae, Ca 94030. Guess what there is no city in California called Hillbrae. There is a city in California called Millbrae... I got you before you got me. Stop with the scams!!!
