False job offer. requested personal info to send$ and cash a check for them

I went online to look for a job. I responded to an ad that in return emailed me with a job offer making $700 a week as a driver. they asked for a photo and my full name, drivers license #, Bank name, marital status, and address. I replied asking for some kind of proof that this was a legitimate offer and company.

Today I received an email telling me that they would be sending me a cashiers check or money order in the amount of $4000. They said they needed my help by cashing the check for them and deducting my 1st weeks pay of $700 out of it and resending the remainder to a specified location that I would be informed of at that time.

I only sent them a picture of myself and my name. I realized that I was getting scammed. I also called westword which is where there job add was placed. Backpage.com to be exact. They have removed their ad and now I am contacting you.
