"Satisfaction Guaranteed" is a FARCE!!!

I used E-Florist to send flowers, balloons & a teddy bear to my mother-in-law who had just had surgery. The balloons were flat by morning and the teddy bear never was with the order. When I contacted the company, they said they would refund me half the cost of the teddy bear in 7-10 days.

The total cost of my purchase was just over $100 and all my mother-in-law got was a few nice flowers, dud balloons and no teddy bear. Nice service.

Thanks for your patience. We apologize that we were not able to send you the teddy bear you requested. Our affiliated florist did not have a teddy bear in stock. In such intences they fill the arrangment to value with additional flowers. As you are a valued customer we would like to reimburse you half the cost of the teddy bear. Whisch will be credited to your account within 7-10days. Once again, we apologize for any dissatisfaction that may have occured as we appriciate your business and look forward to providing.

My reply:

I can understand that there were no bears in stock but it clearly states that if there is a problem with the order that E-florist will contact the customer. Also, what is the guarantee on the balloons... they were delivered in the afternoon and flat by morning... not very cheery by any means. All in all, I was very disappointed with the balloons and lack of teddy bear and truly believe that the bouquet is not deserving of the $100 I had to pay (no matter how nice the flowers were).
