Beware A-1 and First Class Rip-Off Artists! They will take everything you own!

Iam writing on my behalf of my family because they are too devestated to do it themselves. My cousin and wife used A-1 because their Mother had items in storage there. However, they had serious reservations as the owners did not come across as professional and trustworthy. That said they still went ahead.

This company was supposed to pack up nearly everything they owned in a container and have it stored for a shipping company to pick up as they were moving to another country. Everything was done even though there were proplems i.e. truck broke down etc. My cousin and his wife thought that all was well until they received a call from the shipping company saying that the container was not at the Storage company.

Basically the container was gone with all their belongings. A-1 said that perhaps someone came in the night and stole the container. This container is large, it holds about 800 sq.ft of furniture and personal items. How can someone come unto their property unnoticed and do this? Not to mention they would need to know when the container would be dropped off and picked up. A-1 did not coooperate and offered no help to my cousin and his wife.

In fact on a second visit to their office to gather more information they were obviously in the office but would not answer the door. My family is seeking legal advice on this.
