Century Marketing
The big sleasey

Shops, Products, Services

Well the company name now is century marketing, it used to be called U.M.A (united marketing association). in the short while i have worked there it was all good at first makeing money off these people over the phone.wasent untill i realised of complex the whole "sale" is.it starts from the t.s.r or t.s.i w/e but from the t.s.r telling you that you're enterd into the sweep stakes and prizes and yay free diamond watch, free magazines, yay, then bam $3.99 per week for the FULL 60 MONTHS for just the one title of "time" or "us news&world report", or now it is the "t.v guide" and "u.s news" and they get 3 mags of their choice sounds good doesnt it? great then they transfer you to a supervisor.

the supervisor comes on asks how the t.s.r was confirms the survey info, ask wich style of watch you would like, and then depending on if you're a male or female a male would get a total of 5 mags, and the females would get a total of 6 mags.of course its still with that cheery voice wich they kept you on the phone with, and then well "through you're convience every thing is handled through you're choice of visa, master card, amex or discover, after that they enter that c/c info into there "computer encryption" were all they see on there computer is a long row of x's (thats bull crap) after you're card approves there $1 run on youre card, they then explain the 15 payments of $69.16 each month, and then nothing for the remaining 45 months its not that the last 45 months are free its that you would have already paid for them in the first 15 months, see how that works?

now if you do the math all this works out to a total of $1016.16 or something like that.because of course they dont want you to know the total price it just sounds pretty expensive.

well after they get you to agree on those prices they then transfer you to another supervisor who then gets all the payments and of course you're c/c number all on recording for screening purposes only of course so you dont take them to court saying you had no idea they were takeing that much off my card.so its not really a rip off its just a sleasy way of getting $1000 out of you consumers.and if any of you want to save the hassle of this happining to you just say "take me off you're calling list please, thank you" i would have done that gladly, but for you people who hung up on me and where rude for just doing a job i had to do, i put you on the "redial", and i did that alot, so be nice to someone who is just doing a job.
