Ripoff on marketing fees for jewelry and jewelry manufacture

Hauer International founded and owned by Harvey Hauer manufactures jewelry pieces from gemstones that investors have bought from other dealers. Often these were bought at inflated prices so this is a way of marketing a gemstone. Hauer International designs and manufactures the jewelry then attempts to market it.

They show it for awhile in Toronto then return it to you. They have charged listing fees for listings in Sothebys' and eBay.

They also have salesmen who chage a marketing fee. Michael Shaw represented my jewelry for a year with no responses even though we reduced the prices to the manufacturing cost.

After listing other jewelry with them and another marketing fee, they recomended manufacturing a pendant as a central piece of an "ensemble". I was promised a sale to a buyer who was interestd in my pieces if we had the pendant.

After my refusal, notifying my credit card company, and speaking to Doug Osborne, sales manager, and Harvey Hauer, they refused to return my marketing fee, and have made no attempts apparently to market my jewelry.

They have not done anything illegal, but they charge unrealistic design and manufacture fees, then charge for marketing.
