Rogers AT&T
Billing in Advance for Services Not Yet Received ripoff Toronto

Shops, Products, Services

Rogers AT&T (Canada) Wireless division bills customers a month in advance for services not yet received. To make the matter even worse Rogers AT&T (Canada) will:

1. Charge a late payment fee when the payment is not received by the advanced billing due date listed on the Rogers Bill.
2. Disconnect your service.
3. Charge anywhere between $25 - 35 to re-connect your service.
4. Charge various amounts for data transmissions when Rogers AT&T sends you marketing/advertising text messages for their lousy service offerings. (I never send/recieve text messages from anyone.)

Lastly, don't even try to negotiate with them, as a 7 year customer I have to pay full price to upgrade my phones every few years, the long distance and roaming rates are pathetic and the phone service cuts out no matter where you are in the Greater Toronto Area (North, South, East or West) not to mention the customer service representatives hardly speak English, hang up on you and don't have any authority to resolve your issues.

Overall, I'm tired of Canadian sub-standard companies getting away with ripping us all off because we haven't any competition. I can't wait until the U.S. telecom sector takes over so I can say good ridden to Edward S. "Ted" Rogers who is making millions of dollars off the backs of unsuspecting customers and getting away with it.
