Following an initial telephone interview, I drove 4 hours to meet with James Swansburg of Specialist Real Estate Ltd. During the weekend visit, we agreed that I would provide full-time Flash Web Development services for a one year period at a salary of $50, 000.

I spent the following week doing preliminary research for him and helped him to make a strategic decision about a technology direction that would help him achieve his business goals.

Upon solving this particular hurdle, he sent me a short email message cancelling our agreement.
