SharperImage.com, Sharper Image ripoff is keeping my $ while I have a Digi Pen II camera that is just plain Junk! All I want is My money back!!

I bought their camera last spring (March, 2002) for a close friend and I really wanted something that would work for her. I told her that I would keep it to try it out (time dragged on) and to make sure it would work before sending it to her. So my roommate took a few pictures of himself with it. They turned out a bit dark and there was a few different colours behind him in the background, which was unnecessary!

When I got around to taking a few pictures it was July and I took a few of my roommate in a well lighted room with natural light coming in the room. They turned out grainy! They turned out terrible as my roommate said.

Next time in Sept. I took, during the day, a picture of the arm of the couch (sofa), and a royal blue plastic side table, with a light blue flowered blanket on it and a picture of the balcony windows and hopefully I would get a picture of outside. The picture of the arm of the couch turned out good, but the picture of the blanket was pink not light blue and the gray floor turned out bright blue!!

So I thought maybe the battteries aren't up to par. So I went and bought Canadian $5.00 batteries. Then I put them in, around the end of Sept. and it was a nice day and I tried to take a few pictures and my roommate and I couldn't download the pictures off of the camera. My roommate even went to the trouble of downloading the Camera Drivers and the PhotoSuite on his portable computer and still the PhotoSuite wouldn't download the pictures off of the camera.

What I mean is the pictures are still on the camera that we took all along. Even the newer ones that I took outside on my balcony, when I bought new batteries, is still in the camera and so the PhotoSuite just wouldn't download the pictures so we could see them. Just before I wrote Sharper Image about their junkie "camera", my roommate took a picture of me and him, while the camera was attached to his portable computer. They both turned out Grainy!!

When I tried to get my money back by emailing them, not one word was said to me about a refund like I asked them. All they were saying was I could have an exchange/credit.

But I kept insisting that I want my money back, but they stopped writing me back!!

Needless to say that was Frustrating!!! Also, I want my money back!!
