Chapter's online doesn't care about their freelance employees

I performed some freelance editing work for Chapters online at the beginning of this year. Specifically, I was editing manuscripts for consideration for the Robertson/Davies Literary awards that are held annually.

Well, it's now June 12th, and I still have yet to be paid! All phone calls, faxes, and e-mails have gone unanswered, and the Editor's Associtation of Canada has received the brushoff as well.

Chapters: You expect me to work on a deadline, so why can't you invoice promptly?
