I received a letter and a check which appearred to be real. The bank does exist in MN. The letter said I won $55, 000 and 20 other individuals also won the same amount. The amount is from a total prize of $1.1 Million. They wanted me to call the "well trained" Claim Analyst, Stacy Johnson and she would help with the processing of the claim. Also, I would be required to deposit the check, go to Walmart and send a Money Gram to the tax agent. They sent me a check for $3875.00 and want me to pay taxes in the amount of $2, 935.00 to this tax agent. Needless to say, I did not deposit, send or money gram anything. Isn't this considered mail fraud?
