Today in Family court in Newmarket Ontario the courts failed to protect my children and myself. I was at a case co... nference with the father of my children. In 2007 he beat me and showed my son to kick me during an assault. He was charged and in July 2009 he was aquitted. Then he contacted me right after court and appologized for the crime he commited. We talked for two months til I felt it was safe for my children and them to meet again. I set up a hidden audio recorder and he admitted to to the crime against my son and I. He appologized and explained what. He promised he would never do that ever again. Then he saw the children for six hours and we never heard from him again, By this time he had seen the children 6 hours in 5 years, last date was October 31/2010. Then in June him and his girlfriend show up at my door to serve me court papers to see the children. I went to court today for case conference and the Judge didn't care what i had to say. He gave the father immediate visitation for every Saturday between 1-4 PM and allowed to call everyday to my home. I Judge also gave him 15 days to submit a financial statement knowing the father has never paid any child support. He also gave him all right to the children's medical, education. Gave both of us papers to fill out for children's lawyer. What he did to me in that courtroom was horrible. I walked out crying while the father and his girlfriend laughed in my face. Does anyone have any idea as to how i should proceed?
